I hope Kennedy wins. How do you think it will pan out? X

Kennedy is not going to win for four main reasons:

1) The DNC will never let him win the primary. It's that simple. The Democratic Party is legally a private organization, so they do not have to accept either the votes of the workers nor the regular delegates. They have "super delegates" to ensure that the primary candidate who gets the most votes from the Electoral College in key states will be the DNC's pre-selected choice. If they want Biden to win the primary, he is going to win the primary. The primary elections, particularly that of the Dems, is one big sham and rigged game. The very blatant and unfair obstacles put in Kennedy's path by the DNC was something he actively complained about. Besides that, the major legacy media and online media outlets loyal to the Dems will smear him and any other non-approved candidates relentlessly to destroy their reputation by claiming they are "spoilers" for Trump etc.

3) Kennedy going all hawkish and an unconditional supporter of Israel ruined his credibility as a truly different candidate in the eyes of a good proportion of the working class. He should have evinced a more nuanced view instead of pandering to AIPAC and the media after being called "antisemitic" for being too nuanced on the issue before. The working class does not want more destructive and expensive wars when the Dems are not helping us out financially.

3) He is a capitalist and it is in no way, shape, or form an unfair bias to hold that against him. That will seriously compromise his worldview no matter how progressive he may sound on many issues. Like Corbyn in Britain, he will only be a maverick so far.

Hmm I get your arguments. Not certain how it will pan out though. I feel Kennedy is a genuine candidate and his previous successful lawyer experience in the waterways and his knowledge of the political establishment make him a good candidate. I don't want an establishment hack. I guess we will all be seeing how it goes. Thanks for sharing. :-) X

You're welcome, and thank you for sharing as well. As noted, Kennedy cannot win a primary on the Democratic ticket if he does not have the pre-approval of the DNC, and his war-mongering shows he is not truly outside the Establishment, because war-profiteering is one of the main things that needs to stop. Bernie Sanders too was very hawksish on foreign policy, it should be noted.

And it's always very good to doubt the credentials of a capitalist going against the dictates of the capitalist system for the working class because they will have a very specific mindset that automatically sets them against us. Schemes and plans to "tame" the capitalist system are about as effective as attempts to tame a wild wolf.

In fact, this bald fact about the capitalist system and those few who benefit from it and the type of mindset this results in is one of the major things that the working class needs to accept if we are truly going to create fundamental change. That change must come from us directly, and we can never rely on one or more of the overseers to do it for us. That is the harsh lesson learned by the Bolsheviks in 1917 Russia, and we have far less of an excuse than they did because we enjoy a level of technological/industrial development that they did not.

Thank you again for listening and for your interest in what I have to say :-)

Thanks Christofer. If I am not mistaken, hasn't Kennedy switched to being an independent candidate? Don't follow the election news closely though as don't have a direct vested interest in it per se. But I guess whoever gets into office affects everyone eventually. X

You're very welcome, and thank you again for the support.

Kennedy is indeed now running as an Independent, due to his finally, grudgingly accepting the fact that the Democratic primaries is a rigged game and they are putting all sorts of barriers in the way of any incumbent who is not pre-approved by the DNC.

Btw, Scott Ritter, speaking on Sabby Sabs's show, pretty much exemplifies why I too am not supporting RFK and why his war-mongering has cost him a lot of support.
