I did too. I would never vote for any billionaire funded by the Duopoly. If only the working class as a whole would turn on the Duopoly before it's too late.

Yes! We the People need to unite and fight our real enemy, the billionaires.

This is a very strong piece for folks not engaged in our situ enough to even use the term Duopoly, that is if they know what the word means. Now for those who have felt the bind of being squeezed by two political polarities that shared common gravity and a tiny class of dealmakers' interests and objectives at the expense of the rest of the political spectrum, that doesn't mean we know how to break free of the false choices (no choices in reality except to keep hijacking the resources of the many to fatten the Wealth Management Portfolios of the few).

The Elite Leaders of those few have successfully hypnotized rather than persuaded the body politic's big fat center of Low and Lower classes with no Critical Leaders allowed into any serious policy discussions, successfully into accepting the belief (not any kind of debate) that any third way policy direction and loyalties apart from the DUOPOLY are possible and in many cases OPTIMAL over the 2-Party BIG Bid-Net Non-Competitive (political & mass media) monopolistic and communications attenuating Elite that really works effectively only at one objective, snipping the best policies for the most of US, namely the PUBLIC INTEREST from any political spectrum that could exist with access to non-BID-NET servants & elites who actually serve the numerically small yet highly privileged and addicted PRIVATE INTEREST limited class.

The latter dominate and know the need to convince the PUBLIC INTEREST mass media monopolists that the former PUBLIC INTEREST is being served, rather than nominally acceded to with no representation permitted to the actual tax-payers rather than privileging the TAX EVADERS.

In this way ACCESS is the secret word of tiny minority PRIVATE INTEREST RULE over mass movement PUBLIC INTEREST guided policy-makers. Who may err in this or that policy-making and\or preserving decision-making of previous privileged non-competitive elites, but who won't have to worry about ever having to debate the BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOMES FOR THE WIDEST DEMOGRAPHIC Grouping. Thereby we preseve the Illusion of ever-flawed democracy, even while the 2-permissable parties serving ELITE PRIVILEGE engage in a non-competitive drag show of small "d" democracy that primarily serves BIG D DUOPOLY (even the names Democrat\Republican don't change over hundreds of years despite the only measure that matters over that period of time:

WEALTH CONCENTRATION rather than WEALTH DISTRIBUTION.

More to say but I'll be searching for the essayist who doesn't PRIVILEGE POLITICAL OBSCURANTISM to help US break free of this dominant WEALTH CONCENTRATING group of anti-small "d" democrats seeking to advance small "d" democracy that should always be serving the needs of SHARING OUR NATIONAL WEALTH WITH AS WIDE & INCLUSIVE a Body Politic as can shift our 250 years of Political Policy Outcomes that keep diminishing the Body Politic's access to the gears and levers of policy-making ELITES serving their own tiny class's Best Interests.

PS - Do not allow yourself to be misdirected by DUOPOLY labeling via our tiny BIG MONOPOLY class of PRIVATE INTERESTS....Some of the best thinkers do not label or align themselves with any dominant ideology in pursuing the best policies to achieving the widest class of Public Policy beneficiaries..... As to the stated premises of these two essayists I've chosen from among better known higher profile more academic writers & public speakers that dare to critique our dominant paradigm and rather EXCLUSIVE POLICY OUTCOMES I am familiar with, none came closer in publishing online with FREE ACCESS any better statements that match my premises as expressed in this ONLINE SEARCH phrase I used with this objective of widening POLICY OUTCOME beneficiaries:

(italics used in entering on monopoly search engines such as Google, with online search of this phrase)

"Wealth Concentration as singular Policy Outcome of US body politic"

(Qualifying consideration of any online search engine that presents any challenge to GOOGLE's monopoly:

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/05/technology/google-antitrust-ruling.html )

Here's a couple of essays by two essayists whose names are unfamiliar to me. Yet, they seem to be homing in on the way to the more defensible policy outcomes in a genuine small "d" democracy" serving the Public Interest rather than self-interested Private Interest. If you have any knowledge and fact-based links to identifying either of these essayists with or another small PRIVATE INTEREST please do serve the PUBLIC INTEREST by alerting US! :
